Re: 2001 PY USDM Integra Type-R (MD)

Thank you for the detailed answers.

I'm chatting with the other half this weekend and I'll see if I can butter her up for me taking a road trip :)

Re: 2001 PY USDM Integra Type-R (MD)

Have you had it on a frame machine or had it aligned? I'm curious if there is any fundamental damage from the impact years ago that wasn't properly repaired.

Can I get close up pictures of the frame rails in the front near where the radiator support bolts up on each side?

Similarly, can I get ...

Re: Injector Size and Idle

I'm not the authority on SManger at all here, but I would suggest reading their documentation about the voltage vs the charts in Phearable. You could extrapolate between the two if you want to leave the SManager voltages alone, or you can adjust and test.

I think about the sizing, within only 4.5 ...

Re: Injector Size and Idle

Dead times can be seen here:

Looks like, assuming that data is accurate, that the prelude injectors have a shorter dead time, meaning that they flow more for a ...

Re: Window Switch Replacement

Thank you for the feedback. Has anyone else experienced this failure?

If the housing failed that would be cost prohibitive to reproduce, but if it was just the switch itself it would be reasonable.

One challenge is the screen printed "auto" on top of the switch. I'm sure it can be done but most ...

Re: Window Switch Replacement

I was able to take a good unit apart and look it over.

Can you possibly share a photo of how yours failed? Was it one of these small arms that broke or something else?

Anyone else who has experienced this and knows what the failure mode is, your feedback would also be appreciated.

integra ...

Re: 2001 GS-R: Engine rebuild, other refreshments

Minor suggestion here on that IACV. You can get OEM style spring band clamps instead of worm gear on Amazon for dirt cheap. I've seen so many worm gear clamps eat through the rubber over time that I'm not a fan of them.

Example here, but there are literally hundreds to choose from if you search ...

Re: Black strip on bottom of bumper

39143 is the right stuff. I've used a few cans of it restoring CRX trim (which there is plenty of trim on) and it looks great.

Prep is very important, any oils will fisheye.

The key to doing it properly for the masking is a high quality 3M tape like frog tape. There is a guy running a youtube ...
