It took about 30 min to do just the section pictured. It’s going to take a while to get the undercarriage ready to spray.

I see a lot of this in my future. My back hurts just looking at it lol.

Nice work! Keep it up.

That silver on the floor well looks pimp! Im debating leaving the carpet out of my caR and if I can get the floor to look that nice then I will definitely leave the carpet out.

Thanks for the support. I gotta ask are the front wells as much effort as the rear?

Not even close. Rear wells are bigger all the way around as well as having more contour. Now this also depends on the severity of rust and its growth, but comparatively it will take less time for fronts. Front also has some more protection from the splash guards and plastic belly cover.

A best word of advice for doing this to you and anyone tackling this project..... WEAR A MASK. Both my buddy and I have been blowing out car particles and dust and all kinds of sh!t from not having masks the first few nights of cleaning.

Great that’s what I was hoping.

The front doesn’t have any significant rust so hopefully it goes smoothly.

I hear you on the mask and of course googles. Every time I do a session my garage fills with a sort of hazy smoke, I have to keep it blown out. Not a big surprise when going after that rubber undercoating with wire brush @ 14000 rpm.

Still a lot of the undercarriage and engine bay to get through but very exciting.

Got to spend some time today going after the last spots with any significant rust build-up. Nothing too serious but very happy to have it cleaned out.
