I appreciate the enthusiasm. It is helpful to throw out a set of dates and location. I can say a community member has previously offered his shop space in San Jose. I can ask him if this is still an option and for availability.

My idea:
-Grille out
-Meet and Greet for new/old/previous Type R owners (CTR/ITR/etc)

Can you rally others towards chiming in with input?

Thank you for chiming in. It will help planning if comments to include feedback or recommendations. These could be:
-Dates
-Location(s)
-Cars or no cars?
*IE meet the community or see the community's cars? Many Type R Community gatherings focus on the people (Type R Expo, Thanksgiving Meet, PA Meet, etc.) while others are track event or a car show. I'm open but the latter requires a space for safe parking, etc.

I’m in for a ITR/ CTR meetup cruise, food, beer, hangout? For everyone in NorCal? Maybe Sacramento area? Or San Francisco?

Track days are always fun. Even if you don’t track your car it’s fun to hang out, ride along, and also see other cars. Alternatively they just had a meet at In the east bay a couple weeks ago.

The CTR guys are pretty active at the track. If we coordinate with them the numbers will be pretty good. Given the two options in front of me I’d probably opt for the CTR since it’s comfy and I’m old 😂😂

On a personal note with a house project my weekends have been dedicated to that. I’d suggest getting dates from the broader group and I’ll try and arrange things on my end 👍

A cruise is a great idea. This worked very successfully at the PA Meet for many years.

I agree, the CTR portion within the Type R community is growing and active both on and off the track. There were 16x CTR's at Type R Expo last fall and over 40+ at a recent CTR event in SoCal.
