So the SR3 part # works on other Integras and EG Civics but it is missing the chrome ring?

My parts guy said the 2001 CDM shift boot is discontinued in Canada so that is a shame.

From what I gather all 97 - 01 ITR shift boots for CDM / USDM are NLA?

Ugh. I thought the MKIV Supra was bad for discontinued parts but ITR is going down the same path.

CDM yes, 00-01 US used the SR3 if I'm correct. I forget sometimes these cars are 20 years old. At least they're hella more reliable than any of my old german iron.

The 00-01 as well as the jdm have a regular black ring that is too small to clip on the shifter. The em1 boot has the right chrome ring but lacks the stitching.

^ Just to confirm JDM had red stich and CDM/USDM are all black?

Just double checked my 2001 CDM and it has the chrome ring. It is in good condition but the boot tents to pull down off the ring on side facing the rear of the car. I am always pulling it up but it doesn't stay put.

the boot for 00-01 model usdm type R is available still. but as stin pointed out the 97-98 shift knob will not fit into the 00-01 shift boot

this guy did something. I think if I could switch the ring to the jdm boot it would also be to short and tug off in fifth. Not sure what he has spotted it at ifo two years ago.

Dc231 if 00 to 01 is available with the chrome ring do you know the part #?
