Little update.
Signed up for a Track day at Laguna Seca this Saturday!! Excited to see how the car feels with the bump in torque with the 2.4.

Got the Hybrid racing shifter installed. Wasn't able to retain the carbon shifter bezel with this version sadly. Image

Also Had my buddy @letmecoatit refinish my TE16's in "Mag Blue". Hopefully get some tires installed soon.

The mag blue looks real good. Do you want to track on these wheels or just street? The Tire Information Thread has the latest tire recs, RT660's, for example, and others are testing the new Khumo v730's.

I have a set of Rays 57dr that I use for track. These are more so to cruise around and do some back road driving.

Track day was fun while it lasted. First session went good but on the second session I noticed some suspension issues and pulled out into the pits. The welded nut on the subframe that bolts up to the front lower control arm broke loose and caused a lot of play and also 2 of the 4 bolts on my driver upper control arm came loose and changed my camber setting.

Decided on a set of Honed developments upper control arms to retire the 10+ year old buddy clubs and I’m gonna have a buddy re weld the nut on the subframe soon. Wanna get back out there again!

Also, mounted tires on the TE’s and took it to a local Cars and Coffee in Morgan Hill

Sorry to hear the car didn’t let you run out the day, old cars right. Glad it wasn’t more significant. As always love the pics!

Like you mentioned, I was happy that it wasn't something too significant like the previous track day where I blew the old K20A lol

Been awhile. Made a few small changes to the car last couple of months.

Picked up some Honed Developments upper control arms and ASR spherical joints to replace the 10+ year old Buddy Club Arms.

Also noticed my Driver side wheel bearing had a lot of play after the Track day so I replaced it.

Replaced my E-Brake to a JDM E-Brake as the chrome plating on the USDM was peeling off and it always bugged me.

I sold the DC5-R passenger recaro and am waiting for it's replacement to come in soon. Finally tracked down a Vision Technica one touch seat rail. Had a set years ago and always regretted selling them. Love the feel compared to the Bride I previously had.

And lastly, Picked up a OEM spoiler to be able switch things up from time to time. Paint is a little rough so hope to get a fresh coat of VSM soon.

Next things to do is fix the subframe welded nut issue and get an alignment.

Awesome updates per usual, looking great! I look forward to your on-track review of the Honed kit. This topic came up in the Suspension Tuning thread.

Just saw your car on Super Street Online. Pretty cool to watch the build here and see it showcased on a widespread platform. Although I miss waiting for new issues of the print publication, it is nice to see updated content weekly. Congratulations on another featured build!
