Horrible video....makes me want to restore this one LOL

  • In reversion news. dash is back out.
- found a broken ground wire to the HVAC controls. It was causing the AC to stay powered on but not responsive.
- at this time I'll sort the audio updates
- I also plan to redo the headliner & sunroof

anyone have OEM door visors for sale? and sun visors?

  • Fresh off the press....excited.

HA Jerk LOL! OCD can be a beast indeed. Thanks!

Beautiful Socal day so I went ahead and removed the headliner. I stumbled upon some broken trim and most likely will be sourcing that too. Even if it's a "beater," I can't stand shotty interior.

The peripherals

  • another reason the dash had to be removed

  • Took so long to track this down.
- here you can see EX vs EM1, now the EX can work w/ EX heater valve. There'd also be some minor mods to the bracket at the firewall for EX, or it can just be jimmy rigged to stay affixed to the firewall.

  • When in Rome....

  • I also cleaned this up, but no pics of the after
- I'll be adding a cabin air filter to the system too
Image
  • HAVC back in, then I realized I didn't seal the blower and ended up doing it again

  • While the jury is out on which way to go with the audio, I did order some fogs.

Cool to see your video of first starting it.

So you're in Socal? I'm looking for a paint shop to do some bumpers and other parts.

yeah, thankfully my daughter volunteered to help, allowing me the chance to record.

I am in Socal. Two things are hard to find these days here, GOOD and timely painters. I was waiting on my buddy to paint my bumper but some personals began happening in his life and ended up doing it myself. If it was an OEM bumper I would have left it for a pro.

HOWEVER, BOW of HG Works (pomona, CA) on IG is pretty darn good and punctual but he does pack in quickly.
