The windshield is a '97, has that same markings on the 6k mile ITR from BAT. Must have been a change from '97 to '98?

Is that 2 front windshields and a rear hatch glass in pic? You've had one all this time and didnt tell me!!!! I'll let it go because of pup picture...

We're going to clean it very very carefully, then polish when its in the car. I'm too scared of putting pressure on it outside of the caR....

No sir that’s the windshield that Honda replaced after being destroyed on the delivery. They shipped it from Japan. The initial delivery from New York was destroyed. Honda actually stepped in and provided a replacement. Apple stepped in and revived those pics of the intact windshield after looking at your post.

The glass behind is just the other cars glass on other Acura cars and windshields.

I am still waiting for to get back that destroyed picture of the destroyed windshield by Tapatalk.

All OEM trims and clips. Black as the night. They look great. Now that window is in I can do final polishing on outside and inside. I can now also WASH THE DAMN CAR. Some polish and then we maybe can put on some stickers!!

Lots of checklist stuff to do before going around the for real but we are close.

Stay tuned. :drink:

I remember the day I had this done, and yes it was a great day. Did you manage to secure a new cowl? Let’s get that baby on the road, springs coming.

No plates. No insurance. No registration.

Had to take heR down the street for some petrol and a wash..... John beat me to paying for the gas, so his smile of filling the first tank is priceless. Wasn't too long before some fellas a few pumps over noticed the caR and came over to check heR out. Was a surreal feeling to have it out, in light, under heR own power.

We drove .02 miles, but had about 200 smiles in the hour we were out there.

Pics or it didnt happen 8-)

Now starts the home stretch of the finishing touches. Tightening and checking every nut and bolt!

Stay tuned!!

Emblems and stickers incoming... Fresh meats on new wheels incoming... Refreshed interior mats and trunk mat incoming....

Love it! Such an awesome story and so glad it ended up in your hands. The restoration was top-notch!

That's one thing I love about owning older classic cars. Random people love seeing them.

I had an older guy follow me home after he saw me driving my 1989 240SX. I thought he was mad. I was getting on it. 300WHP.

Turned out he owns the one he bought originally in 1991. He said as soon as he saw every body panel matched, he had to talk to me. Lol

A guy at work who saw me pull up in it and was so happy to see it. He owned one in the 90's, too.

I had a streak of every other time I drove my 1994 Corvette someone would give me the thumbs-up or asked me about it.

Beautiful. Insurance is a must on that car driven or not. You know very well what would happen if they were to impound your car and hard work. Protect ya neck! Insurance is easy. At least get a temp tag if you can’t fully register it yet.

Dont even start! I went to gas first because there were NO JOKE, 6 town cops in the wash with someone pulled over and out of the car when we went past. I just stared straight ahead....   :D
