My first post didn't survive after a logout....

In short, I owe (likely) my entire community involvement to MorningZ after joining TI in 2004. I just got access to TI again, my account went back to an email from my 2010 employer (ha.) I plan to post to TI first to share some MorningZ stories and then expand here.

Although I was never too active on t-I, that screenshot definitely is a blast from the past. I appreciate the history and memories you shared here, thank you!

Funny thing, my R came with a t-I license plate frame on it that I still have hanging on the wall. I only put it on when I take the car to car shows… and I figure most kids these days will have no idea what t-I is, or what forums meant to us and our communities

Oh that's cool, now I'm curious who had your car before. I was active on TI from 2004-2011 when the site was sold.

I was very active in those days and we had many meets in and around central Florida that were organized on there. The forums sucked when they were bought out because it was just a cookie-cutter type and there was just something about the old forum he created that was special. Never knew him personally, but he was at a lot of meets with us. RIP.

The memories this screenshot brings up...

That screenshot is wild, I actually purchased something from Carlo at CFP
I used to frequent T-I and their how-to tutorials were great when I was just starting out with my first integra. RIP Steve

I miss this version of that site. The new one sucked and I think broke a lot of the articles at one point. Those plus the regional forum you could subscribe to and was in the upper right-hand corner when you logged in was a nice tough. It also helped that the FL region was pretty active in those days.

I hope this sentiment leads others to respect what we, the Type R community, have built and maintain on this small forum. No corporate overlords, no ads, no tracking cookies, all volunteer (community) ran and hosting costs are footed by a small few (cheezthis) or by Type R Expo funds from the community.

We are all volunteers here, contributions are welcome by either time or monetary for hosting costs. DM me and we can chat. I'd like to finally fix the IP errors when posting, as a start. For the last few years the main administration & financial burden has fallen solely to Jay. I intend to right that.

I would be willing to help out monetarily. I'll shoot you a private message to discuss how
