Nothing like that first drive after a long rebuild. I can still visualize mine in ~'08 for #981040. Way to go!

Well I have logged an uninsured, non registered 15 miles trying to sort out all the little bangs and clanks and thumps... And I think we are pretty close to set!!

Image

Interior is pretty much buttoned back up and back to OEM.

Image

Optional sides and rear valances installed. Really finishes it out.

Image

I think I have a lead on some rear ABS sensors to finish up this beautiful underside from the back!!All new bolts lookin goooooood! :D :D

Headed to the DMV on Friday to register it and put it on the road, alignment on Tuesday, and then we move into the last phase of this build. 8-) 8-)

Stay tuned.

Man, that's exciting! I did the same in November with mine and it was fantastic...besides thinking it was going to catch on fire a few miles in, it was a perfect drive 8-)

Another 15 miles down, this time legally. LOL. Some fresh gas to get the tank filled up, and a bunch of crossover pulls to wake this ol' giRl back up!!

She needs an alignment bad. LOL    she's pulling against herself at all 4 tires it feels like. But she goes in tomorrow to get that taken care of. After that, we tackle a bunch of smalls on the list before she goes back on the operating table. ;)

Stay tuned

This is actually a '97 USDM ECU. Must just be the angle in picture?
