Came across a post in Reddit that someone from MITA Motorsports (that currently creates parts for the NSX and S2000) is considering offering options for the Integra. I think we need to make them aware of how great this idea is and how many of us would be interested in this.

Personally, I feel the market is probably bigger for an integra than either car they already service. The Honda community appreciates Oem parts . The limited buyers are probably increasing. Every 88-01 Honda product that is is discontinued and desired can create a huge profit for the company .

Marc runs MITA, I've known him because on nsx stuff. I can ask him about certain parts requests but from what it seems he's doing the popular and pricey from factory parts for the NSX to start with

I can only try and imagine the R&D investment involved, so I understand if they have to justify the ROI to start. That's cool that you know them.

Definitely do that. I really hope they can make some parts for the Integra like they have the S2000 and NSX. I would definitely be a customer.

I've used Marc for a couple of years with the NSX-mostly for parts that are only available from Honda Japan, or have design flaws.

He's making significant investments to re-create OE parts that eliminate some sort of inherent issue. One recent example are the inner door liners. The tabs become brittle over time so he re-created them with reinforcements:

Another example is the short shifter from the NSX-R. It was a RHD only part so he re-created it for LHD cars.

https://www.mitamotorsports.com/integra is live. Got my order for window moldings in. No more stress about chipped windows or future repaints anymore. Image

Thanks Mita!
