My car (blue '17 CTR) is going in for a Race seats/harnesses/Full Race intercooler/Hondata Fuel system upgrade and fresh tune some time this month (January) and should be done shortly thereafter (parts already on order) at Pure Tuning RND in/near Dayton.

Once done it will be time for some suspension setting testing (sway bars/shock settings) and setting up of the data/camera systems. That said I've got PittRace and Nelson's rather close by. Hopefully I can have it all sorted by early April. Ed

Very cool!!

You live in Dayton, OH? I lived in Middletown and graduated from University of Cincinnati. Was accepted to University of Dayton, too.

Hope you can come out and join us!

The mad scientist is back.

When it comes time to tune the suspension I'll share tips from my experiences across Eibach R2's, JRZ RS Pro's, and MCS, and I'll pull in smarter peers. Toss up a post here:

With enough planning time I'll try to attend this.

I'm originally from the Youngstown, OH area, spent ~25 years in NoVA working as a patent examiner (now retired), and have been back in the Youngstown area for the last several years or more. Prolly back at YSU soon, just because.

PS I'm on the Spoon F/R bars with an MCS 2wnr kit.

Ah, I see. I assumed you were in NOVA area due to researching your stolen ITR in the early 2000s.

I've lived in Maryland most of my life. My dad moved out to Middletown, OH to work at AK Steel after getting laid off (1994) from Bethlehem Steel in Dundalk, MD. He was alone out there and I was graduating from high school (1995). I was forced to either go to Dayton or Cincinnati. lol

Several of my classmates were from Youngstown.

I hope to at least spectate locally at some nasa events this year. i brought the kids to summit for fall finale last year and it was decent, for being their first time.

I should be good for March or April time frame for something.. Live and work in NoVA.

Family owns a good chunk of property close to Dominion raceway where we can shoot some weapons and drive trash cars around raising hell - I have an auto E36 BMW that I practice shooting from as well staged there for muscle memory tune ups. Have a nice grill area and lake to fish in as well. Might be fun to organize something there.

Wait wait wait... auto e36 that you practice shooting from??? Sounds like the best guns n' booze meat ever!

Granted I don't own firearms ir anything, I would just watch from a safe distance. And possibly bring the smoker with brisket.
