I used to use oem Honda. Now I do Mugen filters just b/c it's fun. They're supposed to have better "filter efficiency" and other benefits. Bu who knows? They are pricey, I buy them around $23 per filter. But maybe that's the bonus I give myself for "saving" money by changing oil myself?

I don't know what the best oil filter is. But Mugen is the coolest imo.

I just heard about Mugen MT105 molybdenum oil. I wonder if that would be good for my dc2's.

I've continued to just use oem s2000 oil filters, I wonder how they compare to the mugen one.

I typically have something on my magnetic drain plug. Whether it be from high RPM or typical wear and tear from initial cold start, who knows.
I've also noticed the same thing, it isn't much on the drain plug, but lots of small material on it. Really need to do an oil analysis

Installed CDM front seats I've had for a while. They had rails from a civic or something, but luckily I just took out the stock seats in my gs-r. Figured out how to swap the gs-r rails to the cdm seats. Then also luckily, my brother was here to help install them, because the rails didn't quite line up. We used our bodyweight and other techniques to get all the bolts lined up.

I also shampooed the seats prior to installation. They are pretty comfortable.

And installed jdm rear strut bar today. It's nice to have time to install all these parts I've had lying around.

Nice seats. I've got 01-1325. The side bolster on the drivers side is pretty beaten up. Have you ever heard of anyone refurbishing them?

Thank you. I'm no expert, but I'd say you should start by using a spot cleaner/shampoo vacuum to get the dirt out. That will help a lot, unless you already have holes/tears.
