Was really expecting a better ITR headcount.

If out of state ITR's outnumber Cali ITR's that will really be shameful.

jayhaire wrote: Tue Jul 10, 2018 8:10 pm Rough count:

CTR - 15
ITR - 17
NSX - somewhere between 40-60, need to check those numbers.
There are a handful of non-Rs too but haven't queried.

Combined, there's really only room in Advanced and Instructor. We're outnumbered by the NSX group a bit at the moment though.
Note, these are registered drivers for the on-track portion of the event. More are registered as guests (banquet dinner + t-shirt) and car show & cruise details are coming soon, for those wishing to attend who do not wish to track.

Further, many weren't around in 2001 for Type R Expo 1 or just aren't familiar with what Expo is (or isn't.) It's up to us to educate. We are also taking steps to expand none-track portions like the cruise and the car show section. All in all, we are all part of the Type R community and we are making strides to offer appeals to everyone within the Type R (ITR and CTR) communities.

This is also is the second year we are combining forces across the larger Acura/Honda community by collaborating with the NSXPO community. :trophy:

The IndyCar season finishes before Expo West. I'll try to find contact info for Graham Rahal and Zach Veach as I think they own Civic Type-Rs.

By the way, decided to buy another Trailex and tow to expo. :drink:
Which, now that the rear seats are out of the car, brings me to the fixed back seats w/roll bar rule?
