I initially thought the hood may have been popped in the pics, but if it's indeed fully-closed...something is not right. And did I miss the obligatory pic of the gauge cluster confirming the mileage?

No wonder why Boyko Motors bought my new USDM ITR VC... :P
Is this true? If so, how recent was that?
9701TypeR wrote: Tue Feb 13, 2018 8:47 pm Looks like the weather stripping that attaches to the front underside of the hood is missing, the large gap initially stood out to me. Also wondered why the ebay photos were so limited? Possibly glossing over the fact the front end has been replaced? Radiator cap looks like an autozone special. Id want factory AC at $50k+ as well
The radiator is not original either and probably came with that cap. :clownshoes:

Couldn't find any info for the car on the registry. I thought the 97 models started with 97- or 000-?
Yea yea yea, I just did a typo putting '98. Definitely 97-00035.

Dc2-ProductionS wrote: Tue Feb 13, 2018 8:12 pm Does anyone see VIN tags on fenders or hood?

I don’t.....

😉
That is weird, good eye.
Ha ha wink wink. Unicorns don’t have vins in the usual spots.
Oh yea. Honda didn't put VIN stickers until '98, is that correct? I forget these things about how earlier Honda models didn't have vin stickers.

I just went on Bat and all the 97 model Integras none had a vin on the fender.
For the asking price I would expect a full service history. Based on time alone the timing belt and all the other bits should of been changed. No pics of the underside no video of the car running or driving. I'm not sure how I feel about it I wouldn't spend $54k I know that much.

Canadian 97R's didn't have any VIN badges anywhere other than on the dash. When I bought my Cdn 97, I was a little worried, but a little bit of researched revealed that they never came with any until 98.

Wow do want! Someone out there wants this for their collection and will pay up.

Would like to see this on Bat.

Is the USDM ITR valve cover still available new?

Car has been repainted (apparently rust). Driver side fender has been replaced (minor fender bender, possibly parking lot accident, not quite sure). Not the original radiator, not the original radiator cap. Timing belt/water pump has not been replaced. Original tires were on, but were cracking due to age (Boyko, says they had to replace because the couldn't sell a car with bad tires). Original sticker is not in hand. And also the seats are very faded for a sub 15,000 mile car. More like a 80,000+ mileage car.

Any more details, I will let everyone in...

Those details are surprising given the asking price. I was going to mention the rear seats looks faded, but couldn't tell if it was just from flash of the camera.
