So far nothing too wild this year
Maintenance:
- Replaced engine air filter
- Trans fluid change in March w/ Honda MTF (w/ UOA)
- Replaced driver's side axle with a Raxle replacement at about 134160mi (the inner boot tore during a track weekend in May).
- Engine oil replaced in June w/ Amsoil 0w30 (w/ UOA)
- Replaced VTEC Solenoid Gasket (just because it was easy)

Awesome thread
Curious why you are using 0W30? Was that recommended to you or is that just what you have been using?
I need to get one of those oil data things done but Im scared what I'll find lol

Thanks for the thumbs up!
As far as the decision to run 0W30, honestly, despite what conclusions you might draw about my personality from the thread, I'm not as concerned as I used to be about oils and all that. I figure chances are that the car will meet it's end going off track or more likely hit by someone on the road texting (so at the end of the day, just make sure the engine has oil, what kind I don't think matters too much so long as it's near OEM specs). Originally, if my memory serves me still, I chose a 0W30 instead of a 5W30 or 10W30 because I wanted the low viscosity on startup and that Amsoil tended to be on the more viscous side when hot and sheer wasn't really an issue even over the course of a year-long oil change, the few track weekends I do, and short trips around town per the UOAs. And for consistency of measurement, I've stuck with it over the years just because "if it ain't broke, don't fix it".
