1990 civic Si - period correct build, what parts?

Feel free to discuss anything about the late 80s to early 00s Hondas and Acuras!

If I recall correctly this was the cheapest aftermarket manifold offered. They were pretty much junk.

That's a bummer and after a closer review you can see why that is.

So I did a track day recently, and this might turn into a regular track build..... but I can still document. The car was so fun on track it had me thinking more of performance now. SO things like 15x8 TEs and close ratio gearsets seem more likely now. I am going to stay d16a6 tho. stay true to the si drivetrain.

I did one day at my local track, and after giving a bunch of rides to friends, I laid down a lap.

as for current upgrades from when I bought the car, I installed the following:
Recaro Pole Position (from prior build)
PCI seat mount with rails ( so the homies can drive too)
350mm momo monte carlo
5inch long boi spacer
used oem carpet from ebay (my cousin helped deep clean it)
used center shifter console from HMO
used center dash console from ebay
oem honda radio delete plate
used oem clock delete
renegade delrin shift knob
used oem ecu cover plate thing
matte vinyl window banner
non oem floor mats ( look good tho!)

More to come!!! enjoy some pics!

Yesssssss!

I used to own a an '89 STD 4-speed. It was so much fun to drive. It was my daily with ice-cold AC during Tennessee summers, despite having close to 200k on the odometer. I sold it and that motor lived on for another two owners.
