Mud flap cover/plug
Mud flap cover/plug
Several years ago I feel like there was a thread about someone making a block off for the opening at the rear wheel well and the rear bumper, for those not running rear mud flaps. Anyone remember these or where a set might still be available?
I can’t seem to find any reference to these or if they are still around but feel like something like this would add a nice cosmetic finishing touch to this area that otherwise seems unfinished. I could try to cut up. Pair of rear mud flaps but as I believe these are discontinued now it would be a bit of a shame to sacrifice a set to exploration.
Alternatively I could run (rear) mud flaps but I feel like that would be unbalanced and less aesthetically pleasing.

Re: Mud flap cover/plug
I don't remember this but am happy to help explore. If this thread was somewhere between 2011 and 2017, then it's lost to the server madness that was never resolved (still not happy about that). If it was before 2011, we have it in the ITRCA forum archive, which is open to the public.aklackner wrote: ↑Sun Nov 28, 2021 11:36 pm Several years ago I feel like there was a thread about someone making a block off for the opening at the rear wheel well and the rear bumper, for those not running rear mud flaps. Here is the post with pics of them. viewtopic.php?f=15&t=167&p=1754#p1754
When I saw this post, I instantly thought of the thread with the yellow car with them. Na-spirit, i would bump that thread to add "splash guard" because it was impossible to search for that thread
