Re: FS: 2001 Integra Type R

Cars are fun, that sounds like a frustration process to troubleshoot. I would start with checking:
*Battery ground = is the ground location free from the black engine bay paint? Are the terminals rusted? It might be worth sanding all contact points

Re: Expo 2023 - Community Collective

.... https://www.grid.life/news/2024-dates The crew behind GridLife have been Type R Expo supports and many from the Type R Expo committee have directly supported previous GridLife events by helping run. They are some great folks. It would be great to see another Expo happen. Realistically I don't ...

Your wiring work is top notch! I'd enjoy seeing more photos of the assembly and measuring process to learn more.

3D printing is on my to-do list, excellent idea and KISS. :okay:

Re: Expo 2023 - Community Collective

I have at least one race weekend in OCT so personally would also need to know when this is, but in concept I like it. For the record, from an NSXCA e-mail this morning: " We are excited to announce the dates have been finalized! NSXPO 2024 will be held in Dallas-Fort Worth October 23-27, 2024....

Re: Expo 2023 - Community Collective

The FK8 folks out west roll deep at track days and they have for years, dating to the release of the FK8. Yes, the car had (has?) overheating issues. No, that didn't stop the CTR crowd from renting out and doing their own local versions of a dedicated community track day at Buttonwillow, Thunderhil...

Re: Expo 2023 - Community Collective

Happy New Year! Aside from tracking my own ITR up until late 2020, I havent really followed much "Type R" related things since then. And it didnt seem like anyone tracked the FK8 at the time and the crowd was more into stance and wraps. Plus overheating issues. What about the new FL5 crow...

Re: Expo 2023 - Community Collective

Tagging along with NSXpo seemed to work fine in 2017 at Road America and 2018 at Thunderhill. At the same time does Type-R Club lose some identity? NSXpo is a bit costlier but they have a combination of social and track events. Members also pay yearly membership dues. Richard (Lap of the World on Y...

Re: specialty auto insurance question

My sincere rec is to have stated value, whether or not classic car coverage.

My current insurance offering is neither- so I will have to make a switch at some point for my replacement track car.

Re: FS: 2001 Integra Type R

Unsure if you want to keep this thread as your preferred build thread vs. build a new, but FYI the valve cover ground strap is in the wrong spot on the front right of the valve cover. This is a common mistake! You weren't the first and won't be the last. The right bolt grounds to an aluminum valve c...
