Re: Type R on bring a trailer over 100k bid on first day
That number is nuts! Its a clean car but wow. I wonder if there will be anymore upper movement in the bid price over the next 7 days since that number is already astronomical.

Re: using Japanese ECU in US spec car
So may I branch off a little from my original questions....
If going to an OBD1 (chipped) tuning solution what happens to the EVAP component's?
If left in place - Check engine light? drivability issues?
or
Are the deleted in some manner?

Re: using Japanese ECU in US spec car
Are you asking why Neptune vs another tuning software or Neptune vs JDM ecu? Ive used it in the past on two cars. A turbocharged b18c and H2B. The tuner I spoke of at that time preferred it. Oh to clarify, I was asking why Neptune to better understand your prefences. I understand if your tuner pref...

Re: using Japanese ECU in US spec car
Based on responses I think if I had to Id go one way the other a chipped obd1 ecu (Neptune probably) would be the way to go since that's what I have used in the past on other cars and they are still readily available. I have access to a really good tuner in Richmond if I had to. I think I would alm...

And the broken piece I’m going to be trying to bond back together IMG_2389.jpg Can you help me find this on the parts diagram, or is this something that is part of the latch assembly or surrounds the key cylinder? I want to see if it's still available as a separate part. https://i.ebayimg.com/image...

using Japanese ECU in US spec car
What are the requirements for using a Japanese market ITR ECU (00 year in 00 US car) for the US ITR? They are cheap on Ebay vs A chipped obd1 ECU with adapter harness.
This is hypothetical based on if one had to replace the factory ECU and the OEM US part wasn't available.
